North London Locksmith Chosen To Represent Small Business Saturday UK

Master Locksmiths Association member Alexandra Locksmiths have been chosen as one of this years Small Business Saturday 100.

For those who haven’t heard of the initiative, Small Business Saturday UK is all about supporting, inspiring and promoting small business, on Saturday the 6th December and beyond. The Small Business 100 falls under the ‘promote’ tenet of Small Business Saturday, and in the 100 days leading up to the 6th December will showcase one great small business each day. Last years 100 even got to visit Downing Street, and many of them have had great success following their involvement in the initiative last year, and are finding bigger and better ways to be involved this year.

Alexandra Locksmiths are a family run business, who have been helping secure London for over two decades, and they are now part of 2014’s Small Business 100.

So, what will they be doing to mark Small Business Saturday? ‘On the 6th December we will be working in our local area of Muswell Hill’. The lead up to Christmas is a busy period for many, and is no different for this family run locksmiths. Although not a happy statistic, crime does increase with the darker evenings, and people do tend to have more cash in the house and Christmas gifts under the tree.

‘We provide a free security survey, and will be changing and upgrading locks, increasing security on windows and fitting door and window grills’ and as if that wasn’t enough… ‘when our work is finished we will be supporting our fellow local businesses by doing a spot of Christmas shopping in some of the lovely boutique and unique shops in the area’
